INSTALLATIONS
Experimentation
Through an iterative design process, I’ve worked through a series of objects that inform one another. With no set goal in mind, I can learn through mistakes and explore current ideas through maquettes.
Carriers of the Everyday
Exhibition developed to showcase the work of over a year’s research. Converted one of the spaces in TMU’s architecture building to be occupied for a week after completing the every object, drawing, and model shown.
DesignTO 2024
‘Carriers of the Everyday’ - Self designed and fabricated temporary installation for DesignTO 2024 festival. Project was installed in MILKY’S coffee shop and was designed to showcase the leatherwork while also guiding patrons through the space.
DesignTO 2025
‘Artifacts of Place’ - This installation is made up of three newly crafted leather objects which can build our connection to home. Worked has been designed, crafted, and installed by myself in Sixteen-Eleven Studios during the festival week.
Hold Tight
A part of UMBRA’s ‘Surface Impressions’ design competition and group exhibition where artists were invited to design an object using UMBRA’s new proprietary recycled leather product. ‘Hold Tight’ is designed as a scalable object which uses the leather’s strength in tension to create a container.
Objects for Adaptation and Resilience
Exhibition showcasing new independent and collaborative work from the artists-in-residence at Harbourfront Centre. Collaborated with textile-artist Khadija Aziz on a customizable daypack and metal-artist Viyan Petekkaya on a cutlery pair.
